Framing Fundamentals will transform the way you understand your work as a communicator. The course begins by asking you to take a step back to articulate "why this matters" by using tested values that orient your listeners towards more productive interpretations of the information you are sharing. It then shows how conceptual metaphors build understanding of your issue with the public, ultimately locating these (and other) framing decisions within a theory of change that brings issues and people together around systems-level solutions for positive outcomes for our communities.
This course contains seven learning modules. Typically, we suggest allowing about 45 minutes for each module and a pace of completing one module per week.
